Programme 2014

The series of workshops and conferences of the Programme Point Sud 2014 was organized by the Goethe University in Frankfurt, the centre for research Point Sud in Bamako et the partner institutions of the Programme Point Sud. The six events of the Programme 2014 focused on political actors and their agency on the institutional level (constitutions, courts) as well as on political culture. Another key subject was culture as an artistic and political resource to envision the future development on the continent and to negotiate colonial and postcolonial history. All workshops thus showed a strong sociopolitical relevance for the societies in Africa.
